@djcuvcuv112 - You nailede it, exactly (at least, as I see it). It is a cover, but its a tough ass cover, and this is gonna pay off nicely for them down the road as they weave this influence into their own work. Wish I had the chops to pull that off when that age. The funk and fusion I'da been able to bring. I thought it was a great song for them to emulate as they learn their craft.

mmm yer good effort but why bother playing it the same way and transcribing the WHOLE song note for note....yer sure transcribe but put your own flavour to it....you cant imitate sco or dennis.....like NO WAY!

I don't know why there is persistant negativity on comment sections all over youtube. These are blatantly a talented bunch of musicians to even get together and play this song. Really tight playing and an excellent choice of repertoire! Keep it up.
