  • I created this for my k-2 hmong literacy classes. Most k-1 are able to read all the 1 letter consonants, 1 letter vowes, and all the tone marks. 2nd grade are learning the 2 and 3 letter consonants. Hopefully by the end of Decembeer, we will begin to do some Hmong writing....

  • this is great, one of the best hmong videos i've seen on youtube!

  • @goldseekertime You are right. this is not Hmong alphabet. I was taught that it was Latin alphabet by my teacher. It was used in Europe many centuries ago.

  • @glancemuajmoo Don't confuse your class with White Hmong and Green Hmong (Moob leeg). When it comes to teaching, I found many teachers mixed up with white hmong and green hmong. They were not even noticed it.

  • THIS IS NOT THE HMONG alphabet, THIS IS what they called TRANSLITERATION = ANOTHER alphabet to write ones language for the purpose of pronouciation or communication, not to claim as ones alphabet. If you teach a class for the Hmong k-2, DO NOT CALLED THIS "hmong alphabet." This is the reason why so many youths keep thinking that the "LASTEES" or RPA is the so called "hmong alphabet", is because people like you keep lying to them, FOR ALL THE HMONG, THIS is what they called THE ENGLISH ALPHABET.

  • I love the VOICE,

  • This was very creative. I am glad we have someone out there that can make a difference in our community.

  • thank a lot for this. i like it that it have the picture on it. i'm encouraging my kids to learn it.

  • Haha I remember learning this in Hmong class, when I was in high school.
