PATH EXCLUSIVE! : World Trade Center Bound Train Of Brand New PA-5 Cars @ Newark-Penn Station
The newest and smoothest PATH cars to be rolling onto these tracks!
The PA-5s are the newest cars for the PATH fleet, replacing I believe the PA-3s. They made their debut on Friday, February 27th, 2009.
Sources say that these cars are running under a 30 day test period, im not 100% sure about the real deal here. But man, these cars in my opinion are 10 times better than the R160s!

@PanzerVIZeke actually the insides of these cars look more boring then the r160. the r160 looks nice on the inside and maybe a bit bland on the outside. The train thats really boring is the r143. But i like the r160 more then the path trains. the only thing that makes the path look better is the color.

They look more like the new #5 East Boston Tunnel oka MBTA Blue Line 0700-series cars, with blue seats and silver 'n' blue exteriors. But do the PA5 cars have a railfan window in the cab access door? it should

I agree completely. These cars look alot like the new Siemens Cars for the Blue Line in Boston. The PA5s dont got a railfan window, but I recall a window at the front of the train next to where the person sits.
