Manson & Slayer Fans vs. Preacher: Pt. 1 (+ concert footage)

This kind fellow tried to "save" us from going into the Slayer/Manson show, but that didn't work. Fat Tony tried to gently hug him, but that didn't work either. This all went down at the Concord Amphitheater.

@Dhakadice The bible incident happened in Poland which was documented on most metal sites. The 2 protests happened, 1 in Germany and the other France. WITTR is a naturalist left wing group, as some say, but has no political ideology or ties with racism.

(Dark Funeral was once prevented from slaughtering a pig on-stage, but only because the health inspector said no. If they would have kept the pig refrigerated prior to the performance, they might have passed the legal hygien standards. :P)

Here, you don't get banned for ripping bibles and stuff. They can however, prevent nazi bands from singing certain things and reggae artists like Buju Banton and Shabba Ranks have been prevented from performing because of lyrics about killing homosexuals. Which I think is good (banning them, not killing homos).

Drugs however, are considered very controversial (but on the other hand, it's illegal and you can still sing lyrics about doing drugs).

@Dhakadice The one thing in Europe that bothers me is that some countries' governments are out to save you from what they deem blasphemes. Nergal from Behemoth is charged for ripping up a bible in his stage act and almost went to jail for it. Another band WITTR was protested for being something as obscure as extremists and could not perform. We live in a fucked up world and I may be a hipocrite for saying this but no one's concert or music should be protested or censored anywhere.

We have some really scary religious types here in Europe and Sweden too. Although not quite as scary, as christianity is a somewhat de-policized phenomenon here. You never ever see someone protesting outside a rock concert.

@Dhakadice These extremists are not just a problem in the USA but a world problem. You have different types of extremists all over the world and some are in the worst possible place, being involved in the government. With these guys they are just crazy, street preachers out to do their master's bidding, being to convert the weak-minded-fools into their congregation. Most of these are out to get your money and enslave you if you let them.

@Dhakadice These religious extremists never showed up at a Slayer Show until they went on tour with people like Manson. That is the point and not whether somebody reads the bible or is a Catholic. These religious extremists don't like Catholics either. They feel their religion is #1 and everyone else is subhuman or inferior. This guy standing around and preaching is a brain-washed-drone that is just doing the bidding for his leader because his leader can't get dirty.
