Well I got this video from Racing Underground and it was at HD. Then I edit it with Windows Live Movie Maker and it still looks the same. Even for converting DVD's (VOB's) to MPG's I lose nothing, and incredibly converting from mp4 to avi, I lose little quality unless I record which it stays the same.
