My regular MacBook is just like that except it doesn't show the loading bar and stays on that screen forever.

@littlekidnumberone That's interesting. Do you have parallel 7 and windows on your computer ? I did. I had also 1st installed parallel 6....that's all that's on the computer so far.. I went to the apple store today and they told me that I should call 1-800-myapple and they can connect to my computer and fix it. I don't have apple care though and am not prepared to pay for this repair....was hoping there was an easy fix. They didn't suggest re-installation of the OSx...nyone have suggestions?
For everyone giving BS answers, you are all wrong. This problem has nothing to do with NVRAM or a broken power supply. This is a corrupt operating system that needs to be reinstalled. To do this, Hold down the Option key when you hear the startup chime. Insert your operating system reinstall disk that came with the computer. If you dont have one, go buy one off Ebay or something, I think this computer runs OS Tiger. You wont lose any data, just reinstall and it wil work fine.

Try this: Restart holding down the Command (Apple) + S. It'll boot to a black screen with white text. When it does a run though and stops at a prompt, type fsck -fy
It'll run through a diagnostic. If it can be fixed, this will fix it. When it stops it'll say something like, the HD appears OK. If it says something else, repeat that process again until it does. Hope this helps.
