This station is in Winnepeg. Why is the closing in French? Would'nt that be largely for a Quebec viewers? Please explain,I'm American.

Does Radio-Canada still sign off the air? If so, what time do they sign off?

Virtrually the same as the old english CBC sign-off.

Same signoff, but with an English language V/O, airs on all the CBC English language stations. Same animated national anthem as well. It was actually produced at CBLT in Toronto.
