I replaced the my ipod screen and everything works fine except the lock button doesnt work, at all. I havent glued the screen in all the way because i am scared to do so before thats fixed. does anyone know what the problem is? or maybe is it because the screen isnt all the way on? any advice will be helpful.

My screen isn't cracked or anything, but only shows white with a grey half-circle near the volume buttons. I can still touch around by memory of where buttons are and play music and stuff but the screen stays completely blank. Anybody got tips about what I could do to fix it?
