This game and it's haunting melodies used to have me crazy playing all the time!! I was so sad when it didn't finish!! I loved it :)

Wow 25 years ago, what an astonishing game this was! I spent countless hours of my early teens playing this and hunting down the elusive MAGICAL FLAMESWORD! This game really pushed the Atari 8-bits to their absolute limit back in the day, and was groundbreaking - I'm fairly sure its the origin of the 'mip-mapping' technique, altho the phrase wasn't coined until some years later. It's one I still dig out every now and then on emulator. Atari 8-bit is the only way to go with this game ;-)

@Acrinimiril Actually, i like the PAL slowdown in this case. The title music often appears and has this sort of "nightmare character" if you understand me. And this gets even cooler with a little slowdown i think. Just my opinion though ;)

oh man does that bring back ancient memories!
Wish the developer had finished more than one game in the trilogy
Thanks for sharing

The City was the best anyway.
The Dungeon was just another typical quest driven computer game.

The music is by Gary Gilbertson, the software (AMP Music System) is by Philip Price :-)

That's Great!! Ich liebe einfach die Musik von Philip Price!!
Was the music recored on a PAL system?
It sounds a little slow.
