Attending the 2008 NAS Oceana Air Show Golden Anniversary last September 20, 2008, I was visually thrilled with the sight of what is arguably "the most outstanding fighter plane ever built." (Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, Chief of the Australian Defense Force)

The United States Air Force considers the F-22 a critical component of the U.S. strike force. The USAF states that the F-22 cannot be matched by any known or projected fighter aircraft today. (Wikipedia)

Indeed, seeing this piece of machinery fly at almost faster than the speed of sound (take note of the cloud vapor forming) above your head will literally make you WoW! A rare sight to behold, indeed!

  • @MoneyMan8900 literally it is the best fighter in the world it was proven bro

  • Haulin ass: best fighter in the world.

  • @williepayt01 No he didn't break the sound barrier, he was very close to it though. Pilots aren't allowed to go supersonic at airshows. He wasn't flying higher than 2500 meters and if he did break the sound barrier the crowd would still hear a huge boom. Now if he was at 5000 meters or higher that would be different.

  • ive been to this airshow since i was 7 and i get to go into the base cuz my dads in the airforce

  • Condensation forms around the wings during violent maneuvers at high speeds.

  • @MagicPup69 They legally cant that close to the ground and people.

  • can anyone say "jiss in my pants"?
