This is Part 6 of the Spiritual Neuroscience series, sponsored by the Institute for the Scientific Understanding of Consciousness.
In this we present a new scientific theory of consciuosness that explains remote viewing, near death experiences, past life memories, and spiritual visions.
It is based on a model of consciousness based on the Turing Model of complex adaptive systems analysis. This model is widely used in the Natural Sciences as well as explaining basic biological principles such as why zebras have stripes.

This is the first model, to our knowledge, which combines recent scientific understandings in neuroscience, physics, biology and psychology. The long awaited reunion of science and spirituality is here at last.

I am preparing a paper based on this for the scientific literature. I have written about it, with references on the Spiritual Scientific website's blog.

Or you can get references to it by writing to me at the Spiritual Scientific website.

  • Thank you for your comment. Our group studied the long term effects of near death experiences in children, and found that they persisted throughout adulthood, even for brief simple early childhood experiences.

This is a dizzying and disoriented view of consciousness because it is so unfamiliar to our common perceptions. In light of your comment, I am going to post on my website's blog a list of appropriate scientific references.

Neuroscience has documented that we are in fact nonlocal

  • You can put subtitles in Italian?

  • Some might call this nonsense but I find it really interesting-Great post. When I was 4, I nearly died from drowning.I had what you would call a "life flashing before me" experience. Not much life to revisit at 4.Many of the visions were foreign to me.The point was I later in life experienced for real some of the same things I experienced from my near death experience. So how is that possible ? Traditional science cant answer that one. This theory can.
