Hey everyone thanks for checking out my channel/video's! I have been drumming for 26 years. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where I took private lessons for 3 years (age 13) from teacher Mike Wandalis and I was considered by many to be a child prodigy as I took to the drums very easily and progressed very fast. While in Michigan I played and toured with Kid Rock for the year of 1995 playing to several sold out clubs and theater's throughout Michigan and Ohio playing to crowds ranging from 600 people to 2500 people on average. I also played with the Detroit Pistons half time band The Sun Messengers (8 piece funk band similar to Tower Of Power), vocalist named Royce (background vocals for group Take 6), Euthanasia (original metal band) and many more. I moved to New York city in 1998 where I spent 8 years playing several styles of music including, funk, fusion, rock, pop, alternative and so on, within a year and a half living in Manhattan I beat 43 drummers to get a gig with the Josh Dodes Band who within months of my getting the gig appeared and were chosen out of 1000's of bands to be one of 4 bands on the VH1 reality show "Bands On The Run" which aired in 2001, through this I got a lot of notoriety and one of the highlights being a write up in the NEW BLOOD section in DRUM! Within 3 weeks of being on VH1 DRUM! also featured a drum solo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gDGuPKrnSE I did my first hour on the show on their web site for a year and compared me to John Bonham, Keith Moon and Art Blakey which was an incredible honor! I now live in San Francisco where I am currently doing and available for session work and gigs!
