Worst night ever at the Philadelphia Airport Courtyard Marriott...

This was a video taken on the night of 9.27.09/Morning of 09.28.09. We were staying at the Philadelphia Airport Courtyard Marriott and the card reader lock on our door failed. The battery died. This video shows an employee of the Philadelphia Airport Courtyard Marriott trying to "jimmy" our hotel room door. 3 employees were unsuccessful at opening the door. The last employee was frustrated and then handed my friend the "jimmy" tool and was told rudely "Why don't you try it?!" We waited in the hotel hallway for hours trying to get into our room. We were DENIED another room while they tried to recover our belongings, even though we explained that we had a conference very early the next morning. They did however offer to have us sleep in our car and they would wake us when the room was unlocked. We were unable to settle into our room until 2:30 AM! We as asked for some sort of consideration on our hotel bill but we were denied this because we paid with Priceline. Priceline was also of no help to us. For whatever it's worth if the Marriott ever views this video the woman in this video was the only one that seemed to care about our situation. The rest of your staff is worthless.

Looks like she was putting the object in backwards under the door - handle end first. I have used these devices before to open random hotel doors to see if anyone is inside and to find out what they were up to. Sometimes I find people sleeping - once I saw 2 grown men squatting over a coffee pot which was odd, but they didn't notice me since they had blindfolds on and the music was pretty loud. Should I start a website with video and photos of all the interesting people I find by surprise?

I used to work for Marriott Reservations, that was until they got greedy and shut our call center down.

Then they had us working from home, which was fine, that lasted until Oct 2010 and then 1/2 of us got laid off so they can create more jobs overseas where they could pay the people less than we got.

I was one of the one who got laid off. The other ones get their chopping orders in March so I heard.

Damn that hotel ! I once stayed at this hotel , there was a LOT of ` alates ' ,namely breeding ants / termites in the room . It never arrived . We had to go down to ask for it , even though we called the front desk . THEN we got it .
