President Thabo Mbeki bowed to heavy pressure from his own party to resign Saturday, tossed to the sidelines of the economic powerhouse he built up as punishment for allegedly abusing his power in trying to quash a popular rival. (Sept. 20)

  • Oh ye Tarboy Mbeki did well...

His denial in HIV & AIDS being connected cost millions of lives.

    50-80 murders per day

His lack of action on Zimbabwe saw that country brought to its knees, if you think the deal struck last week between ZANU & MDC is gonna last, you're kidding yourself.

A woman is raped every 20 secs.

2 million skilled whites left the country, over 6 million illegals now within our borders

35% unemployment rate, the rich vs poor gap is even greater even with BEE & AA.

  • "Mbeki did OK with the SA economy. "

Pleaaaase ! The Economy grew because it was stunted by sanctions for so long and because the EU and the USA want the new SA to work and invested heavily in SA (imagine if it fails ! what a rebuttal of all the liberal views that multiculturalism is a good thing).

  • It's funny how these S.A. news stories won't carry any news about the White Genocide that has been taking place there!!!!!!!

  • xhosas have contributed a lot compared to the rest. we cant make things perfect for every national.

  • xhosas are lazy and they lie

  • what is ur point? Xhosa leaders atleast fought for SA and ruled the country with dignity. Xhosa leaders have been & still r awesome to a certain extent like any other leader. Xhosas we reign!

  • The Xhosa time is over. The Zulu nation will now dominate.

  • 1 down 4 to go....no its 5 to go since nov 4

  • What IF it fails? Its failing right now. The only thing is while cash is being bandied about to all and sundry who sould not have it, the companies are looking good. When the support stops flowing there will be some elightenment. I hope i'm wrong, but what success story is this all modeled on?

  • Ek stan daar en wag, maar die bul wil nie kom naai nie. Wat doen ek nou?

  • He did do well(relatively speaking). Just wait and see what Zuma is going to do. You're gonna want Mbeki back then.
