Should the state get to decide how people get to live there lives? How about the damage caused by drunks on our roads and in the streets? Should our precious mead be taken away because some people cannot control their lives? How about the damage of being under paid and having to put your kids into child care so both parents have to work? How about censorship of the internet - "getup" are your just another control - taking away our freedom? The undecided......

I seriously have to question why some people support keeping the Pokies industry the way it currently is. @Ozipeter Absolutely people have free will, however we as a community have a responsibility to work together to provide support and atleast have discussion about those issues which cause harm to individuals and those who are vulnerable.
Problem gambling has a range of resulting consequences, which often dont just affect the gambler themselves. Entire families and communities are affected. That IS EVERYONES business. It's a significant problem.
