  • just wondering, when youre finished working, do u go home to the base and sleep or do u go home home?

  • @sparklerbombg

I'm an auxiliarist, so I don't stay there. But the active guys do 48 hours on 48 hours off, so during the 48 hours that they're on, they sleep at the station.

  • Its nice to see the boats we build get plenty of use

  • Yes, they do. Safe boats are very high quality and some of the most well manufactured that I've been on.

  • The only downfall I hear about them is the seating. Under way in high seas I heard they tear up your back.

  • Yeah I do wish that they would have made the back seats the same as the front. The front seats are usually pretty comfortable and they absorb a lot of the impact of the larger waves. But, the rear seats make for a much bumpier ride. =)
