it is beautiful when horses do it without preassure..

well you will never admit the torture because pain is beautiful.. yea and now Nevzorov is a bad man here.. i don't care what you say this is torture.
-
I would like to see it in normal speed. The "slow motion" does show the horse's rhythm and softness but I like to see both. He is a very talented trainer and rider.

I have Iberian horses who do Spanish walk absolutely naturally when showing off in the field, my 5 yr old Lusitano mare, for a start. She has not at all been trained to do it- yet.

This is a long way from forced, and shows that you simply do not know what you are talking about. Nevzarov keeps his horses away from other horses so that they cannot develop in a natural way, being totally dependent on humans and not allowed to interact with other horses. He is what he always was- a KGB man, now inflicting his control on animals instead of other humans.

@saddlepotato159 Fine, if you were to go to football practice and the coach told you to walk with high knees, you would do it, cuz really, its not too hard... Its not like this horse is exhausted from a few rounds around the ring... Im sure many would agree with that because its partly a natural action for horses. This is proved by watching horses play, they high knee like no tomorrow! Walk around for a bit with high knees, its really not torture.

no, in way that is fucking torturing of an innocent animal..and it's not even awesome but forced spanish walk which is far away from perfect.. Horse here is soo nervous you can't imagine.. Look Nevzorov Haute Ecole spanish walk an you will see what is awesome.

@LifeIsDeceiving That's your opinion. But it helps the horse and that has been proven time and time again. I don't understand why people cannot enjoy something that truly helps the horse.
spanish are silly if they walk like that

It is a movement with a very long and rich history. It started as part of the pomp and cerimony of the royal courts in the classical era... but it is often used to develop freedom of the shoulders and elvation of the steps at other gaits.
It is most often done simply to show off though, which is exactly why horses do this movement with their legs naturally when at play. The training aspect just enhances the natual behavior.
