"It seems more like a headline from the satirical newspaper The Onion, but the Republican Party of Texas recently published its party platform, a report that - among other things - calls for a ban on teaching critical thinking skills in Texas schools because of its "focus on behavior modification" that has "the purpose of challenging the student's fixed beliefs and undermining parental authority." That's just one of the many startling positions adopted by the state's Republican Party at its recent convention in Fort Worth...".* They also want to repeal the Voting Rights Act Of 1965. Cenk Uygur and Jayar Jackson discuss on The Young Turks.

I suggest you google the "No True Scotsman" fallacy... or look it up on Wikipedia...

That was great information. I'd been so confounded watching my pal change from being lame to a ladies man. He went from zero to hero. He behaved as if it was ordinary for quite a while. Then he smiled and told me while he was drunk. He mentioned he learned from the Jake Ayres Master Attraction Formula. Google it if you want to learn about it... He is on a date today with a sexy girl... Lucky guy!

Why do you have nothing to say about Coolidge? An absolute constitutionalist, small government guy, whom Reagan looked up to. Also, did you know Johnson and Carter supported segregation when they were at the state level, before they turned into bleeding-heart libs at the federal level?

It was slightly before the election of FDR, when the black population stopped voting for the Republican party because of how badly they were getting screwed over. They had a lot to do with FDR winning.

When would that be, genius? The most conservative president of the 20th century was a Republican from the 20s, Calvin Coolidge, the last president who actually shrunk government. He also supported equal rights for Blacks.

1.) Are they also trying to suppress the "minority vote" in Europe, in Germany and the Netherlands, where photo ID is required to vote?

2.) Texas students are two years ahead of California students on average per the McKinsey Reports.

So was Franklin Roosevelt and the New Deal "conservative" now? What was Roosevelt's position on Jim Crow? I thought he was your big hero?

Translation: "Me and my fellow brainwashed, government-schooled friends bash Republicans on Facebook all day, all while taking advantage of the thriving economy and thriving society in Texas which conservative policies bring about."

I live in Texas. Believe me their is a revolution brewing within our schools and our social media. Which is why Texas will be purple sometime in the near future.
