hopefully you read your "youtube" comments now and then. I just wanted you to know that your portrayal of Jesus in "Jesus of Nazareth" will forever be one of the most influential roles in television movie history. God used you in the movie to positively affect millions of people who came to faith in Christ because of your respectful and passionate portrayal of Jesus. Robert Powell is Jesus to me..I mean, when I see Jesus, I think of his image in the movie, since I was born in 1977. I know he's only an actor and he does all kinds of roles, but it's had that much of an impact. Its a little strange to see him now.

This actor should have taken an Academy Award longtime ago, Jesus of nazareth movie and his role in it was outstanding.

He played in Ken Russell's MAHLER, as well, which is brilliant. He plays Mahler, of course. His role as Jesus was brilliant, too--hopefully he realizes that Jesus Christ is the TRUE Savior and gets saved (if he isn't already) because the clock is ticking!

I love it when he plays Jesus in Jesus of Nazareth
