@purnapoosmom I am a Valentinian Gnostic Christian and I have no more to do with the occult than you do. I may be a "Heretic" but I'm not a pagan, I used to be an evangelical minister. Perhaps we should learn from the source of peoples faith instead. Jesus didn't tell us to go to church, he told us to BE the church. So what's with the Jesus Inc. Church institutions? There are many Gnostic beliefs and not all are Christian. I don't buy into the NWO anymore than Rosser does.

I know some might say the burning of the bosom was Mormon and they would be right. It did not start with them as Sweedenborgism saw this happen in Germany when many Lutherans in Germany saw Lutherism as a dead ritualistic religion where they adopted a belief called Pietism(where the whole burning bosom originated). They abandoned their seminaries and because of this-this is where higher criticism was developed- Mormons co-opted this and celestial marriage straight from sweedenborgism

Google free books will show Lucifers Trust was in existance before the name change. It was interesting to see how things turned out in those days.The person who most spoke against Christianity as a modernist was named Harry Emerson Fosdick.He was slated to go through a heresy trial in his denomination-represented by John Foster Dulles(would be secretary of state and very much at the origins of the UN.) Well there was no trial-he resigned and had a church bought for him by John D Rockafeller Jr.

There is nothing new about New Age or New Thought it is just recycled heresies such as Gnosticism and Manechiesm. There is a great battle going on which started with Cain and Able, and continued shortly after King Solomon and continues to this day with Masonic / New Age / Theosopy /Occult and so forth.
