@RedStringsOfFate "I do plenty of things JUST because I'm bored." Not true, you just think that's you're only motive. Granted, boredom may have propelled you into action, but it's not the only reason that you do something. i.e. you're bored, so you decide to do something, but why did you decide to go on Youtube, watch, and comment on videos instead of say, play a computer game or watch T.V.? Boredom may have been the reason you started doing something but it didn't decide what.
@immortalfrieza Nobody has JUST boredom as a motive? Speak for yourself. LOL
I do plenty of things JUST because I'm bored.
Hell put magic in this world and I'd totally go out on a destructive rampage JUST because it's entertaining. I'm not the one who said Kefka had no reason except boredom, however boredom in this case would be the motive. Things could get technical with his psychology, where he could act on natural impulses he can't control. That wouldn't exactly make him EVIL though.
@RedStringsOfFate You can't call boredom a motive because everybody has that motive for pretty much everything they ever do, thus, it's just far too easy to use boredom to explain someone's actions. Besides, no one has JUST boredom as a motive for anything either.
Also, don't forget that seeking efficiency is not the same thing as seeking entertainment. But it can keep your mind busy. Idle hands are the devil's toys, children,
Well that's just a contradiction, if boredom is a motive for everything... then how can it not be a motive? :P
People who are entertained don't need new ideas right? So boredom technically becomes the motive. It's like people who are happy, they don't really want to kill people like an angry/wronged person. If boredom and hatred are not motives, then are you saying that the world is hateful or bored by default?
@RedStringsOfFate Boredom constitutes as a motive for EVERYTHING, if we didn't eventually feel bored we wouldn't have reason to do anything at all, so you can't really call boredom a motive.
@justa16thnote ff10? it has good character dev. but not the best.

@NPKing123 I think boredom constitutes as a motive.
I don't think any of the villains had to do anything they did. Lol

@RedStringsOfFate but she did it for the sake of escaping destiny. Kefka basically did it because he could.

@Ramen86861 Ultimecia does the exact same thing.
