Purchased a Mini HDVR recorder and new bullet camera from dogcamsport.co.uk (product: http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/minidvr-h720-bullet-camera-system.html) and spent 5 minutes trying the kit out with the new mounts...

I know the action isn't quite in sync between edits, AND that I look like a weirdo but I'm chuffed with the kit :D

this is the lens which comes with the camera as standard (3mm if I remember rightly - gives around 90 degrees of view so quite panoramic). The 2nd lens I bought is 6mm which gives around 65 degrees of view but a more accurate sense of distance.

Having just done another trackday, I fitted the 6mm lens with the camera mounted to my helmet but because irratic head movement the footage is basically unuseable. I'll be fitting the 3mm lens for next time I mount to my helmet

  • Is that the standard lens that you get in the box or the optional one you have bought shown in your other vid??

    cheers.
