I was in the 24 stationed in Augsburg at Sheridan Kaserne in 68 to 70 and the SG directing traffic in the video is me. That was over 40 years ago and this is the first time I seen it.

I was in Augsburg and Munich from Sept 66 until Jan 69 with the 724th Maint BN. We were part of the pre-position teams that prepared all the equipment for Storage.

I was in the 24th from 7/64 till 2/67 in svc btry 1/13 arty This sure brings back memories.Was stationed at Sheridan Kaserne in Augsburg.

Yeah, Germans kept the prepositioned vehicles in great repair... we were lucky our tanks would run at all... rags stuffed to keep oil leaks from showing. What a pile of junk! Still, it was kind of fun.
