Yes they did, they worked as traders and farm laborers some even owned farms and cotton plantations (they traded cotton & fish for salt to sahel kingdoms).

Nigeria doesn't get ANY MONEY from E.U, OR USA! We once had huge debts but we paid off ALL of it from OUR OIL MONEY, so get your facts right. Germany and Japan were given HUGE amounts of money to rebuild after the war.The Germany economy had collapsed TOTALLY, so it WASN'T German money that rebuilt it. If you haven't been to Nigeria and seen things for yourself, and just believe Aljazeera etc, then that is very naive of you.
