@stratboy59 Actually, you're totally right. Theres an interview on YouTube with Matt and he cites RATM and Jeff Buckley as his biggest influences at this time. If you wanna watch it, try searching "early pre-gig interview".

I get a real strong Jeff Buckley vibe from the early Muse footage. I'd be very surprised if Matt wasn't inspired by Jeff in some way. His mannerisms and even some vocal aspects are so similar. I'm a huge Jeff fan and miss his voice, but so freaking glad that there is a band like Muse in the world that continues to inspire and thrill!!!
