I went on a date that involved a trip on the ferry, and yes, you only paid 1 way! But a whole lot of 'necking' went on back and forth!

When I was a kid, I thought this song was about a little fishing village or something. Never knew it was about Liverpool. The place just sounded too friendly and nice to be a city.

I'm American,but I loved the British invasion.So nice to listen to these classics in stereo .......so much better than the AM radio I first heard these songs on.

as a kid me and my friends would ride the boats all day back and forth accross the mersey for free as you only paid on the other side so we would stay on it was great standing at the back watching the huge ripples in the water. we never had a penny to spend but no one bothered us such fantastic memories of a trouble free time in my life. how it has changed.
