  • this is one of the sickest tracks ever , I have been looking for this record since forever and its not on itunes ( at least not on the spanish or the american one ) not even on ebay ( vinyl ) anyone know where I could get it??

  • @manfrodo: It was reissued recently, available f ex on Juno. Not sure if it's legit or a counterfeit though, but still.

  • Because vinyl is superior to CD.

  • Oh, so you know SOMETHING! Tell me, what are the superiorities other than smoother sound?

  • Vinyl per se is a much better media for sound storage since it can carry analogue information unlike the CD. If you really want to read about this I suggest you Google on the subject, I prefer the video comments to stay on topic as much as possible.

  • HOT

  • @0x51d

    vinyl is superior period.

  • Mass Effect composer Jack Wall definitely took heavy influence from this song.

The synth pad chord progressions from the song that plays during the action sequence on Knossos are identical to Harry Thumann's song here. Jack Wall has good taste. Just type in "Mass Effect Knossos" in youtube and see for yourself. A cool little nod to Harry Thumman.

  • 0:20 is awesome... so did this track come -after KR first aired, or before? Like, did Stu Phillips lift this bass line for the KR theme? Crazy...

  • Awesome song

  • @dandyhiphop It IS the Knight Rider theme .. they just modified this one a bit and used it for the show :)

  • I am uttelry sickended at myself for missing this track for 29 years. I thought I knew most electronic tunes, but this blew me away on every level. Bloody shame the bloke died young, makes you appreciate it even more.

RIP Harald Thumann - pure genius

Thanks so much 0x51d for posting it.

  • its the Knight Rider theme! Amazing.
