  • @hateshiganaikurayami can you explain why it causes excess wear? is it just because the force to overcome the rotational inertia of the tires is dragged (literally) out farther on an exceptionally low touch down rate landing like this?

  • Most Airlines like their pilots to make a positive landing, very low touch down rates d indeed cause excess wear to tires.

  • Tires don't like a smooth landing!

  • Both the pilot & the camera-man are highly skilled.

  • @TheShadowPX I KNOW! I am sooo so lucky that my father is already a pilot. he taught me a to z when i was just in grade 10 through 12,, then when i went for training,, aced everything first time. finished my training in 8 months! that means 0 to A300 seat in just a year by the time i get my license.. and since i already live in Dubai,, Emirates is the best choice now,, I know pilots get paid less now,, but would you rather be a bus driver for the same sallary? no right? LOVE AIR!

  • @afgrocks123 Wow.. that is really nice, I wish i had those kind of contacts. Your plan is also good especially if you are able to land a job at Emirates. I have no doubt it is amazing, probably one of the worlds best jobs. Only problem is that now days the terms & conditions for most pilots are bad, actually a bus driver has better then the average low cost pilot... Anyways I wish you good luck with your aviation career!

  • @TheShadowPX hmmm... it is a cargo charter airline i am planning to work with, it is based in Dubai. and since my father is the cheif pilot in the airline,, i can get in it without going into military or gaining hours through being an instructer.. i will work with them for about 3 hours to gain about 3000 hours, and then i will go on to work with emirates.. they said they would hire me if i had 3000 hours on a wide body.. PS if you like bieng a pilot, go for it.. amazing !

  • @afgrocks123 Alright then. I am certainly not but i never said I was. If i may ask, why the A300? I mean it's quite an old aircraft and can't be that many flying them these days.

  • Pretty sweet. However, not to harsh their buzz or anything, but they appeared to be pretty near the end of the touchdown zone by the time they had any pressure on the main gear!

  • A very skilled pilot, well done :)
