Sonny's Interview With Dr Don and the Diamond Lady
featuring "Mellow Me Down", which was recorded by Marlow Tackett and released on the Palace Records label. It went to "69 in the billboard country charts, then for some reason djs started flipping it and playing the other side, "Would You Know Love", also penned by Sonny, which in turn went to "44 in the billboard country charts.The greatest hits cd by Marlow that Sonny talks about here never happened. Sonny remained close friends with Dr. Don, and was interviewed many times by him, before Dons untimely death a few weeks ago.
