Honda first introduced the Ruckus, a 49cc pint-sized, fully customizable motorscooter, to the U.S. and Japanese markets in 2002 and in less than 5 years the Japanese-originated trend of mod'ing the Ruckus hit the streets of Los Angeles and beyond. So, to see what's going on, our crew headed west to Los Angeles, CA to visit Bowls, a boutique specializing in Rukus bikes and then on to Japan where we met with the Grandfather of the scene, Sekeizawa Yoshifumi.
In LA we met Brandon Leung, the owner of the unique boutique called Bowls located in Little Tokyo. Brandon's shop not only sells the bikes but specializes in customizing every aspect of them. Check out our video interview with Brandon and some of the guys from Bowls to get a sense of the growing Ruckus scene in LA.
Sekizawa Yoshifumi, owner of "Tokyo-Parts", gave us a different perspective of the scene in Tokyo. Here's our interview with Sekizawa, and photos of some of his favorite creations.

Such a dope film, I always loved the Ruckus scene over here in California, fixing them up is relatively popular over here in Nor Cal as well. I am sure most Ruckus owners source their parts from Bowls LA.
The music in here was so fitting, anyone know where it's from?
