In UK currently NHS works and thats what the Obama Care is a very small version of i pay tax and have paid tax for 5 years and if we dint have the NHS - free tax paid health care has saved my brothers life so far NO EXAGERATION
I think we do take the health care in england for granted and assume that no matter what we will be cured
Oh i get that bout taxing now and Obama care coming into force 2014 it takes time and money to ititiate such a large organization

Sorry! I don't mean to make so many. I just get a bit carried away. It comes in waves. Sometimes I make a TON of vids and then sometimes I go a few weeks without even checking Youtube

Yes, i agree they do need to be paid. My point is they are being over paid for services that are not provided. My family has been screwed so many times by private healthcare "providers" I don't see why anyone would want to go to them but, you do have a point. Like i said it's a free country.

My family is military so I don't have any personal experience with the health care providers. From a just a business point of view, they have to pay their workers, they have to pay taxes because they are counted as a business, and then there is the HBIC. [head bitch in charge] who is going to pocket money as well. Greed usually interferes with what is best for the consumers. I'm not saying that a government health care would be evil, I'm just saying we shouldnt be forced to use it.

Also 1/3 of the money paid to private health insurance goes in the wallets of the people working there. Instead of actually providing the service they are paying for. My family has health insurance and my birth control is not covered...... which scares me a bit because what happens if i get prego..... Maybe they won't pay for that either. How could they not pay for prevention?? Anyways private health insurance is not about providing a service it's about making money. But hey it's a free country.

The workers have to paid as well. If we go into a government health care plan then what happens to the people who work for the private health insurance companies? They loose their jobs. Unemployment rates go back up. This is why I think a compromise would work out for everyone. Who ever wants to be apart of it can be, and for people who don't want to be don't have to.

I'm not sure why someone wouldn't want health care but whatever. I think it's a beautiful idea socialized health care works wonderfully for European countries, as well as Canada. I watched a film by michael more called sicko and yea ok i to believe michael is a little pyshco but i understand the point of the movie and i think maybe you should watch it even if you don't believe in socialized healthcare just as to observe the ideas of the other side.
