Freshly rebuilt motor. Changed used O2 sensor twice, changed 2 oem used FPR. Everything is stock with boltons and no intake leaks etc. obd0 original injectors and 92-93 obd1 injectors tested both. Car starts up great and idles good sometimes rough and i dont know if that has to do with 10 lbs flywheel.

Also timing was set perfectly by me while engine was out on an engine stand so that rules it out.
Dont know if cat has anthing to do with it since only o2 dectects anything.

In short I just replaced my 355k mile motor with a rebuilt by me and put everything back and its only 4 miles total and i get code 43 when i rev it to 1.5-2.5rpm at idle is that normal? I need to smog so i try to do it as if the smo tech would rev it as well.

  • Been holdup since, but I coverted to odb1. I'm pushing 155/121tq now on stg2 cams and tuned. Pretty much every bolt on u can think of.

  • Ended up being my o2 sensor main wiring at engine harness side. 1 inch of it was corroded and had to be cut off and respliced. I decided to use the body ground chasis for ground and signal to o2 sensor.

  • @sincereguy81 I will give that shit a try.

    Nice vid, nice engine too.

  • Oh my goodness, it's so pretty and so standard. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a proper 4 cylinder engine.

  • Well, the Code 43 is a fuel supply/system problem. And if it's accompanied by drive ability problems it means your Fuel Pressure regulator has taken a shit. (I have a 1990 Integra and have the same problem). Otherwise if it drives fine your going to need to print out the troubleshooting tree and just follow the steps it says to take :/ Unfortunately I don't have the chart with me anymore. But, i would try getting a "new" condition FPR or something.
