there will be no easy way to beat the thrust ssc. Those people are brilliant engineers with money.I'm american and it's true we under estimate others and try it cheap {gov. excluded}.I think the record is safe for years.Hope i am wrong.I wish them all luck !

@gamblemadman no kidding, now imagine if you put and add on that video... you would make like a half a million bucks in one day, man you are getting me thinking... The revenue from youtube might be enough to cover the fuel...'
-
@Choperpilot2b Yup ... you would get 500,000,000 views on the first day lol.
I'd definately favourite that video.
-
@gamblemadman ya, probably not, still, just a $500,000,000 idea...
Might get a good youtube vid out of it...
-
@Choperpilot2b LOL.
Reaching MACH 6 with wheels on the ground just aint gonna happen ... ever.
But that would be an awesome sight to see.
-
@Cycling83Rev And that makes you feel good, that says allot about your personality.
-
cant you just take an X-15 and put wheels on it? that thing goes MACH 6 (that is 6 times the speed of sound for those who are new the high speeds...
-
How fast? Looks like, hmm about 3 mph! Lol they failed.
-
By the time they actually have this ready to go Bloodhound SSC will have set a new record. Think they should just give up.

@JT100UK Thrust SSC was also built on a "shoe-string budget". The difference between Thurst SSC and NAE (and "Spirit of America") is that, instead of just building blind, the design was worked on first and only built once a viable and reasonably safe solution was available.
SoA and NAE are both machines that have been built with little analysis beyond educated guesses. SoA nearly killed Craig Breedlove, I hope that nothing bad happens to the NAE driver.
Umm...after putting this much effort into this..can anyone take the time to properly video tape the friggin' run. I have seen birthday parties shot with more professionalism.

Whatever. Go watch another video then, there are plenty. You're right-- I didn't make this video like a professional, I didn't put in any effort, I made it with a hand-held consumer camera.
