Beautiful pit! They used to be the most popular pet dog in the US at the turn of the century and up into the world wars...it's only in the past several years that the criminal element has given them their undeserved rep. They are loyal, loving, the athletes of the dog world. They need owners who understand them - and who take care to supervise the interactions between their dogs - pits may love people, but can be dog-aggressive at any time, even with no previous indications.
