GUNS N' ROSES AXL ROSE VS. STONE TEMPLE PILOTS/VELVET...

Guns N' Roses frontman had some choice words for former Stone Temple Pilots vocalist Scott Weiland in the press via a statement issued by his management. Rose called Weiland a "fraud," and Weiland responded by calling him a wig wearing, fat, botox [expletive]."

We caught up with Scott Weiland at the Camp Freddy event at the Hard Rock in New York City, and he talked about how he views the alleged feud.

@axlsgingerhair Actually Chinese Democracy has sold more copies then Contraband,Libertad,and Slash solo record put together:-) And yes,you are right,Axl is the greatest frontmen in rock history,and one of the greatest singers in rock history! Scott is light years away from him!

Guns may have only released 3 albums compared to STP's 6 BUT ight i add, guns saved rock, had the best sellign debut album ever made, AND still get alot of credit for their music. GNR wins

Is not about getting famous... He played with Paulina Rubio and he was asked about that, you know what his answer was? "I didn't know she was a pop star". I'm sorry, but Slash doesn't play with a stranger just to be nice, a load of money was involved... I'm not saying that he playing a pop star is wrong (though I don't personally like it) what I'm trying to say is that in his words he didn't even know who she was, that sounds like a sellout right there!

I think a lot of the people who say Axl is better and that Weiland is trash have never heard STP. I'm not saying they can't think Axl is better, but Scott Weiland is one of the best singers in rock and roll history. IMO Scott is a better singer and lyricist and STP is a better band. GNR has mass appeal though.

@markobaa Actually no,but you are not the first person to tell me that! Problem is that 90% of the people takes there information from Wikipedia,that is great for history,but is not good for something that changes every day (like record sales) beacuse is not updateing regullary! C.D. sale went over the roof in 2010-2011 after the tour,so it has sale 4.2 mil. till now,and that is more then bouth V.R. and Slash solo record! If you dont belive me you can check it out on Billboard!

@bryanjones007 You have no clue, Axl is lightyears ahead of weiland! And gnr would not have been if not for axl! THE greatest frontman in history!Maybe with all the lead singers VR go through, that should tell u something right there! Maybe axl isn't as much the douch as the rest!!!!
