The Searle Center on Law, Regulation, and Economic Growth at Northwestern Law, in partnership with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, sponsored the Searle-Kauffman Institute on Law, Innovation, and Growth over the course of three meetings in academic year 2009-2010. The purpose of the Searle-Kauffman Institute is to identify and then help to develop scholars who are interested in building a research agenda on issues related to the institutions of economic growth. In this video, Searle-Kauffman Fellow Nuno Garoupa, of the University of Illinois College of Law, describes his experience at the Institute.
