This is a Variant of Gel battery as noted by Lidmotor, DADHAV and John Bedini. Its use for Joule Thief power and Earth battery components is obvious.
The utilization of Carbon Fiber tubes as battery component needs to be explored. ALL THANKS TO LIDMOTOR, JB, DADHAV, LASERSABER and others as an impetus to try new ideas for low voltage DIY battery.
The Material Utilized is Sodium Polyacrylate which has the unique capacity to be used indefinitely. It will not denature like gelatin, nor will decompose. Other electrodes can be used including Carbon Fiber, Pure Graphite, Titanium, as well as Copper. Titanium Dioxide as well as ALUM tested as electrolyte adjuncts.
