The fact still is that Elton John didn't write the lyrics. Lee Hall wrote them. I've seen the play, seen Elton talk about the song-writing, heard Lee describe his trepidation about writing the lyrics, even have the play program in front of me. Lee Hall wrote the words, Elton wrote the music.

Love the video! They got a fact wrong at about 1:22 into it, though. Elton John didn't write the lyrics to the play. Lee Hall wrote them. I guess even news people can't spew unresearched facts.
