Information :-

Eric Bell introduces this live rockout which I just had to upload. A friend of mine sent it but try as I might I could not eliminate the hiss, though it is very easily ignoreable when the track begins.

It's a great cover of the British Dr Who TV series theme, where Phil even adds lyrics. Though I can't be sure whether they are his or not. I also absolutely love the end when Phil explains how they have to keep regularly tuning their instruments, because they put new strings on the guitars but mashed them up when they were drunk haha :D. No lyrics cos I could not for the life of me work them out. Otherwise...Enjoy!

  • Brilliant! Thanks so much for uploading - just rediscovered Thin Lizzy recently and this is such an added bonus - wouldve been cool if they'd been asked to redo the theme around 1980!

  • Doctor who theme?

  • i'm in love!!!!

  • Never mind the hiss that was brilliant, love the bit at the end, typical Philo engaging with the crowd :-D

  • @Weirdbald Thin Lizzy started out as a psychedelic progressive rock outfit that basically was a Jimi Hendrix clone. All three of the Eric Bell (original lineup) albums have a Jimi Hendrix influence in them that was phased out when first Gary Moore and the twin lead team of Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson joined in Thin Lizzy. After that they became more 1970's hard rock and then metal with John Sykes in the 1980's.

  • ADRIC LIVES!!!!! I AM HERE!!!!!!!!!

  • Super !!!!!!!!!

  • Fucking SWEET!!!!!!!!!
