Hey dont generalize, there are just so many people following cricket in india, not everyone has followed cricket since the 70s or 80s. Then again there are people like me who know better. Even as an Indian, i can tell you sachin is nowhere close to eing the best batsman, even among recent indian players, dravid and laxman had better technique. Sachin is undoubtedly a great batsman, but his records are more due to his longevity than him being the greatest batsman of all time...

Apparently you fail to grasp how West Indians wicketkeep,speed has nothing to do with where the wicket keeper stand it's about the ability to see where the ball drop..That determines if ball going on the off or down the leg..

Ask Geoff boycott and he will tell you this is is the best over he ever faced. Holding was sheer grace, Marshall attacked the crease,lillee was sheer aggression and beautiful follow through, I love watching these guys and reading the comments. Australia and windies fans are very knowledgeable, Indians fans know shit and think tendulkar is everything.
