Do you think this is funny? Here is Al Franken at the 2004 Republican Convention in New York. He is with a man who identified himself as the sign-language interpreter for President Bush at the Convention, and Mr. Franken proceeds to tell him about a "funny, stupid thing" he could have done.

The man was in fact an actor in an independent film, who was indeed filmed on the floor of the Convention.

  • This ad defeated Al Franken. It got 10,000 views and ran in Minneapolis. Franken was up 4% in the polls before this ad came out. Now he is facign almost certain defeat.

  • Let someone on the right say that about B. Obama, and see how long before the Secret Service is at their door.

  • OOPS! Al won!

  • Actually, this ad DID defeat Al Franken, due to the fact that the investigation of ACORN and ex-con "votes" showed that Norm coleman won the election by 537 votes. Yet the fraudulent result was NOT overturned. Just as it was not overturned 6 years ago in Washington State, after it was shown that Dino Rossi beat Christine Gregoire by over 1,800 votes after it was discovered that ACORN workers had falsified balots in 16 Democrat-majority district machines. Why aren't these frauds overturned?

  • Have a sense of humour you tossers

  • "Almost certain defeat," eh? :)

  • @lawlcoaster I dont have a problem with that at all.If your a liberal law your the exception because the left are hypocritical when it comes to these things.I hear what your saying and I agee with you

lol, I think it's just as funny when I pretend he's talking about Obama. I don't think the president at the time was really what made the joke funny.

Jokes are jokes, they aren't meant to be taken seriously. If it's funny, I'll laugh.

  • I thought it was funny. GWB disgraced our country worse than any president in history. We don't even know the context of their conversation and joke...and it doesn't matter anyways. Freedom of speech about a politician/celebrity...one that took our country down the toilet. It's not wrong to joke about him.

  • Could you emagine if a republican made a joke about a democratic president like this. You fucking liberals lol.You are hypocritical scum.
