Episode Two, The Fond.
This episode I will be coving making use of the hidden gold in the kitchen, the Fond. Fond is what they call the bits that will end up stuck on the bottom of your pan after searing/cooking meat.
As part of this episode I will cover making a simple Au Jus and a Gravy.
Recipes:
Au Jus
1 cup White Grape-Peach Juice
1 cup Broth
1/4 tsp Thyme
Salt and Pepper to taste
Gravy
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
2 tbsp Butter
2 cups Broth
1/2 tsp Thyme
Salt and Pepper to taste
