Delivered from Homosexuality Part 2

Mike Williams continues his story about how, as an ex-ex-gay preacher, he was "delivered" actually from legalism and Christianity. Mike explains that the law of God given by Moses in the Bible was taken away by Jesus Christ at the cross. All the forbiddings found in that law are no more. We know that God has always created, loved & created diversity among His children. It's His decision to make some of them gay, and that's the way He wants them. The myths in the Bible about homosexuality being a "sin" were written by men in an era of great ignorance, and have been badly edited, translated & interpreted since then. It's not possible to stop being gay, any more than it's possible to stop being black, left-handed or tall, because that's how the Lord made you. Why argue with Him?

@iloveevelyn2012 The scriptures were not written in english. Once you've taken some Bible translation courses on ancient languages, maybe you'll have a better understanding. But, you belittle yourself and the scriptures when you just toss out a Bible verse with no context. Context is everything.

@Cemmanuel2918 Sorry, but until the Law was given by Moses, neither homosexuality, nor being a hunchback, was unacceptable to God: David the murderer- God took away his sin before he even confessed. Cain the first murderer recorded in the Bible: God not only did not take his life, but protected him. Moses the murderer: God did not even confront him. The Law required death for these men, yet God broke that law...why...because it was a reflection of our self-righteousness not God. Get a heart!

@GospelRevolution1, you realy should re-evaluate your self. trying to discredit Chirstianity by making false claims is way over the top. it is sad that in your time of caliming deliverance you did not come to understand that you have to fight the urges of the flesh if it will lead you to sin. now with that said you can parade around town claiming you never stop being gay but one thing remains. God is the same today, tommorow and forever He is against the act of sin and judgement will come!

@truthcomesout1, i just read your comment and wanted to reply to it. the statement to your response is absurd, the reason God made us is to worship Him freely. which means your true intentions and love for Him will lead you to do as He says. the ultimate problem is that in order for someone to do anything unGodly is not believe in God, for the sole purpose of doing what the flesh wants.

@LexiShayneMusic: John 1 states in black in white that if you sin after becoming a Christian you are lawless and are NOT saved. Do you still sin? Then Christ is not in you, because he cannot exist with the old nature. The entire paragraph states this IN CONTEXT. There is no way to pick and choose scripture and spin this with moden apologetics. Be honest. Christians are so ignorant about their own Bible (or about their unique Holy Spirit lead "interpretations") that it's mind numbing.
