New York fashion director Harriet Mays Powell visited Karl Lagerfeld at his Chanel showroom in Paris for a closer look at his fall 2009 Chanel collection. But of course she had to ask about the fur-covered helmets he showed in his namesake line. "Theyre ice-cold if you put them under the arm," he explained. "Its like hair. So its like having a huge wig. He also noted that the helmets have an iPod hookup. "Its a stupid idea, but the best ideas are stupid. And of this season's eighties explosion, he offered, "Remember the eighties. We dont want to go back." See more in the video.

yep, I know, i heard about the guys he sleeps with, a close friend of Karl once said that he felt like he was the only one of the pack like (valentino, YSL, the older ones)... he was a failiure because he had no money or any assurance to fall on his back if his contract was not renewed. and it was because he spends it on ipods, guys, secret parties, young men, and dont even get me started with Baptiste! a guy like him has to be banging karl to get the publicity he's getting

you know, it's true... i have close friends that have worked for Karl Lagerfeld, and he is a very morbid man according to them, and he drains your energy a friend told me. she said that the one person who can make his knees weak is Anna Wintour. when he was doing the fittings for the Moscu show, they kept saying that he was just yapping about how he designed special "jewels" or hidden pockets for condoms and cocaine.
