Only thing is Crosby didn't play in game 7 after Franzen hit him in the first period... and he still lifted the cup like he won it single handedly.

if you look very close at 1:07 you can see the puck hit zetterbergs body while he was in the net. it was in but just barely.

@mase5701 still 4 to 3 though and it I know this sounds stupid but I think it was harder to win back then, playing the same team over 20 times a year and hockey was WAY WAY WAY more physical, no helmets, less padding and history matters asshole

@chrislopez44 i would've been ok with it (detroit fan) but instead he forgot to shake nicklas lidstrom's hand in the handshake line, he forgot to shake at least 60% of the red wings team, then I lost all respect for him

Thats because the Penguins didn't exist for about half of those cup wins, you fucking retard. Red Wings are one of the Original Six.
Penguins are 3-1 since 1991, Red Wings are 4-2. Not to mention the Wings went 40 years without winning a stanley cup. So if you're gonna bring up history, which doesn't matter, at least bring up everything else in history too, you biased little bitch.
And you can't say shit to me because I'm not a Penguins fan, I just know idiots when I see them.

Detroit Red Wing suck....all they've done is win four Stanley Cups since 1997, six finals appearances since 1995, win their division every year since 2000, 18 straight playoff appearances...come on, now. Congratulations on the Stanley Cup title but ANYONE who says the Red Wings OR Penguins suck is a little confused...if Detroit sucks than what about the 28 other teams in the league that they outlasted? Detroit played a great game near the end but pittsburgh added a bit of an edge. it was an awesome game and it felt great to see sidney lift the cup, me being a canadian. awesome series.
