Sounds like peking opera. Besides, its not the same music, language and mannerisms practised in manchuria proper! Very sinified, might as well call it ming "palace dance".

You better have good balance in order to walk in those clumsy, clunky looking shoes! I found the dance to be rather stiff and formal, not really enjoyable to look at.
