Buckley was inspired by Miles "All Blues". As a long time Davis fan I also heard a part of Miles work here though Buckley only used the subtle quiet mood Miles set with the one instrument in "All Blues" and made it a main instrumental part of his. I wouldn't call that a "write over". Hearing both these works many years ago I was blown away by Miles "All Blues",later I was enthralled with Buckley's nod to Miles in his.
