A soldier from Illinois attached to a Hawaii Army National Guard unit died in Iraq this week when his vehicle rolled over.

Spc. Casey L. Hills, 23, of Salem, Ill., died Wednesday of his injuries. The Pentagon says its investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Hills was assigned to the 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, out of Pago Pago, American Samoa.

The 100th Battalion is attached to the Hawaii Army National Guards 29th Brigade Combat Team.
