That's just the VERY basics of it, so don't take what I wrote as the full explanation. The actual written theory has MANY points and goes into plenty detail to support it.
Look it up, and I'm sure you'll enjoy. Happy hunting!
You can probably search it on google and find some of these theories. It's been forever since I read it so I can't remember all the details.
Something about how rabbits are portrayed in Egyptian(?) society as new life (I probably have that all wrong.).
If you notice, they all recollect on their 'past' lives and things that they experienced leading to death. Also, int he last episode, you hear a woman scream. Supposedly, this is someone new entering purgatory shocked by what she sees.
That woman screaming is the girl from IE! You see it flip to "rabbits" at that scene in the movie. Also she is the girl on the other end of the phone.
Well this episode certainly sheds some light on the series...at least one of the rabbits has died. This woman was in some terrible accident, probably a car accident judging by the lyrics and Lynch's penchant for car accidents.
I'm pretty hooked on this series, especially now that I can actually make some slight sense of it. To make any sense from a Lynch film is a triumph, no doubt.

That evil mouth which shows up a couple of times and talks gibberish could be Satan or something, lol.
