@cpmondello Did you know that Louisiana is probably one of the most "socialist" states but votes Republican. 86% of whites voted against Obama in the 2008 election. That number is about the same as what the Dixiecrats received in the 1960's. When the Democrats were conservative in the South 70% of the South voted Democrat.

Red State? Ex-squeeze me? Louisiana IS a red state. The only reason we have ONE democrat Senator is because we have a lot of people over there who really like government hand outs. And if you're not from Louisiana, you just don't know....
